Home?
Ask me not
It hurts me so often
It’s not either a place or space
Where I sleep
Not at all a street or school
Where I walk
It’s there
Where my heart hovers and hovers
Until its get hurt
It’s there
Where I sleep so sound
As if I have no tomorrow
It’s there
Where I walk and talk
As if I own every piece of land
It’s there
Only there in my dream
And I dream so often

Beautiful. It put me in mind of “Inception”, where the group of people gather to dream.
– “They come here to dream?”
– “No, they come here to wake up. For them, the dream has become reality.”

Beautiful, deep and heartbreaking words, all at the same time. You have bared your soul and your heart. I hear it. I feel the ache of longing.
“Where I walk and talk
As if I own every piece of land
It’s there
Only there in my dream
And I dream so often”.
These words stood out to me. It reminded me of part of Psalm 115, “The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth belongs to mankind.” When I read the Psalm I learn that for those who fear the Lord God, are called his children. Children have an inheritance from their Father. All we have to do is believe he “is” and that he is the rewarder of those who seek him. (Hebrews 11) What he owns we walk on as if we were at home, because we are family, family of the Most High God. I love that you dare to dream. God put that in your heart Sonam. I see a heart that seeks justice in you.

Took me a moment but finally caught your refrain, ending beautifully with —
It’s there
Only there in my dream
And I dream so often
Nice, Sonam 🙂

Beautiful. There can’t be a better home than nature for all of us who have come from there. This mortal frame is a licence to ambulation from otherwise static existence. Congrats

The words and the image work so well together, as if one was born of the other. A beautiful poem, and a beautiful picture. Is the photo yours? I’m guessing Tibet with that landscape and fluttering prayer-flags

Thank You, this picture is not mine but it resembles the home I am dreaming for so long. Most probably it’s somewhere in Tibet.
